Remove the MoldingIf your model has molding, remove the molding carefully to access the bed frame.Remove the molding full-face to expose the bindings facades.
Remove the Bindings FacadesRemove the last lath and the 8th lath from the bottom to access the internal components.
Open the BedOpen the bed and place an object to keep it in a semi-closed position. This ensures stability during the installation process.
Remove the FacadesCarefully remove the facades to expose the internal mechanisms.
Open the LegFully open the bed and extend the leg for easier access to the pistons.
Remove the Toe KickRemove the toe kick to access the screws and components beneath it.
Uninstall the LegRemove the leg from its position to allow more room for piston installation.
Remove the Stop Panel ScrewsUnscrew the stop panel to gain full access to the pistons.
Remove the Stop PanelTake off the stop panel to expose the moveable parts of the bed.
Move the Moveable PartMove the moveable part towards the interior of the bed frame.
Remove the Upper Cylinder BoltRemove the bolt securing the upper part of the cylinder.

Step-by-Step Disassembly Instructions

1. Remove the Mattress

By removing the mattress, the bed frame will rise quickly. Have a helper hold the frame down while removing the mattress.

2. Remove the Four Slats

Remove the four slats at the middle and foot end of the bed to gain access to the front facades/door panels.

3. Unscrew the Facades

Unscrew the facades using screws VR-215.

4. Rotate the Leg

Rotate the leg towards the interior.

5. Keep the Bed in a Semi-Closed Position

Use an object of about 2 inches (50 mm) thick to keep the bed in a semi-closed position, then lift and pull to remove the facades.

6. Remove the Stop Molding

Take off the stop molding by removing the 5 screws on top.

7. Let the Bed Frame Sink Back

Let the bed frame sink back into the cabinet and remove the cylinders.
Unscrew the fastener and remove the end of the cylinder from the “L” bracket.

8. Remove the Bearing Supports

Unscrew and remove the bearing supports KI-993-P.

9. Lift the Metal Bed Frame

Lift the metal bed frame from the brackets and slide the frame forward.

10. Unscrew the Bed from the Wall

Now you can unscrew the bed from the wall and continue the disassembly.
